while checking my credit report. I saw a collection agency had listed a debt I was unware of. After doing some research. It was a hospital bill. I later found out that the bill was never submitted to my insurance company. The debt was from 2007. And is now posted on my credit report dated 12/2011. Am I still reliable for a bill the hospital failed to submit? The collection agency nor the hospital can provide me with a detailed bill. I went for a allergic reaction. I huge bill of 1887.00 That's absurd!!!!

I have looked all day at the Kansas State Laws on Payday Loans. It says the maximum loan amount is $500. I have a couple that are definitely over the $500 limit. And one of them have higher interest rates allowed by the state laws, but are licensed in the state. What do I do? Does this void the contract? Do I just owe the principle balance now? What actually happens when these companies don't abide by the state laws?

I checked with the state of kansas to see what payday loan companies were licensed to loan. Upon researching I found out that none of my payday loan companies were licensed. So I sent them a message that I printed off of someone else forum. Pretty much stating that they were illegal in the state of Kansas and that I only was required to pay back the principle balance in which I have and then some. This company responded back very quickly saying they didn't have to abide by state laws because they were from St. Vincent.

I filed a Chapter 7 and was told the automatic stay was in place and vehicles could not be taken away.I was told that I had until the discharge to come up with payment plan. Its just hit thirty days from filing ch.7 and the dealership repossessed the vehicle. They (dealership)say after thirty days they can repo it. Can they do this? The court said we were protected until we got discharged. They repossessed our family truck.

I took out a payday loan with Mycashnow.com I ended up closing my bank acct so I never paid them I borrowed $500 and now I am getting a call from Martha Greylock from Legal Processing Services and she said there is an action going to brought against me because my acct was closed and that is like writing a bad check. She says it is a felony or something. I live in Missouri. She was trying to get me to pay over $1000 and I told her I didn't think they were legal in MO so I would pay the $500 which is what I borrowed. She tried to get me to pay it that day but I told her I couldn't.

Their letter reads they are referring my account to their legal department and over the next 30 days will be investigating my personal assets in preparation for a possible lawsuit.
