I remember a couple of months ago, I was on the phone with a collection agency whom I have been making payments to every month, and she asked if I was interested in making a deal. I thanked her but told her that at the time I was in no shape to do it.

I just received a call at work from Sam Cobbs at Jacobi & Mayors. I told him in a very direct and firm manner that I've filed complaints against him and his company with the FTC, BBB, and Attorney General in Wyoming. He started trying to talk over me by saying he was going to "conference in" Platinum B. I told him don't bother because I've already spoken with them at length and found out they are not authorized to collect for them. He got really nasty with me and said I was being uncooperative and he was going to file some note saying such.

I am currently working with T&C on consolidating my payday loans. I am trying to find an address for Paycheck Today. I found a phone number and T&C contacted them but they refused to talk to them. They refused to give me an address. Any help would be appreciated. Crystal

I was wondering why a collection account showed up on my credit record, seven months after the fact. Is this normal or were they cleaning out their records and I popped up. Also since the creditor cashed the check not the collection agency, does the collection agency have any legal obligation? They were caught in the middle, but I was dealing with the creditor the whole time.
