1 1/2 years ago, my husband and I made a BAD decision and took out several internet payday loans. Anyways, I got them all stopped, closed the checking account, and filed a complaint on all of them with BBB, Dept of Banking, and Attorney Generals office. They are all illegel in the state of Pennsylvania. We begun getting some very harrassing phone calls, but, changed our telephone number. Just recently, we begun getting them again.

I took an installment loan from Western Sky and then it appears that a company called Cash Call took over the loan. I am trying to determine if this is a legal loan in Ohio and if I am requred to pay anything put the $2600. which is what the loan was for.

I received court papers filed for Foreclosure 1 1/2 years ago. The Lender KNOWS that he is stealing from me and now know that I am seeking money from them...They failed to pay my property taxes which they had in Escrow...should I pay them ?

I live in Arizona, PDLs are no longer legal so they switched to title/registration loans. I am confused as to how they can make a title loan on those that do not have a clear title? I have called and asked my registration loan company how this works and they can't or won't give me an answer. I am told by my BK lawyer that because it is secured with my car title that I can't put the loans in my BK, but the amount I have to pay each month can't be figured into the means test, so they show that I have more money than I actually do. I just want out of this cycle without losing my car.

Can check loan on-line have your arrested for passing a fraudulent check over state lines. This was in 2010, the company is Check-Net. I borrowed $500 dollars. He was saying that my bank is pressing charges because of the check, but the investigator is calling me out of state. I am in Birmingham Al

I am a month behind on my car payment, and it is getting close to two months. If I don't pay my car payment I can make my last payment to my attorney so I can file. What should I do? I'm going to ask my lawyer the same question, I was just curious what y'all thought.Thanks

Here is currently what loans I have and what has been paid: Cashnetusa $800 paid $812 Payday One $1100 paid $700.52 Speedy Cash $600 paid $254.38 Nationwide Cash $500 paid $$350 Plain Green $250 paid $242 Power Financial $500 loan amount $300 paid in fees I have one with ACE but they have worked with me and I only have 2 payments left. I need to get out of this mess. Let me say that I can't close my checking account as it is a joint checking account. That is not an option. I did open a new account at another bank and am sending them all to that account.

I thought this was illegal unless one has had a prior business contact, or they are a pollster, or non profit group? As they ask for a person who does live here but is not the listed owner of the phone number are they violating the law?

I live in Ohio, and I have a loan for $1500 with PayDay one. I want to work out a payment arrangement with them to pay off the loan, but they stated previously that they would only be able to work out an arrangement if the ACH was rejected by my bank (Chase). The problem is, even though I opted out of overdraft coverage, Chase still approved the ACH transaction and allowed the ACH to go through, overdrafting my account. I called and they said they were not able to reverse the transaction. Any tips on either getting PayDay one to work out a payment arrangement?
