I have sent out a letter to all PDL's similar to the one here on this forum and have only gotten a response from one so far (PepperCash.com). I have a few Payday loans with the following companies. I have closed my bank account and most of them have been paid finance fees multiple times. I need to know if any are legal in Florida. I have been looking around the site and have gained some valuable information but I want to make sure.

I am currently in a DMP and the PDL companies are aware of this and aren't accepting the proposal. They are debiting double and triple the amount that I paid previously. My bank refuses to close the account because of the negative balance (Due to overdraft fees) and pending transactions. My account will soon be in collections and I don't have a lump sum for the negative balance. I don't know what else to do. I know I run the risk of being reported to Chex but I don't have any other recourse. Does anyone have any advice?

I was hoping that someone could give me some advice. I am wondering if there is a way that I could place a block or something on my credit report so that collection agencies can't run my credit file to get updated information on me. Please help!

Hello, I live in Indiana and have 6 payday loans outstanding. I have closed my account and put a hold on ACH debits. All 6 are not licensed in Indiana. I am sending letters to revoke ACH and wage access. All together I owe around $759 in principle. A couple of the lenders I have had loans before and paid lots of fees that I didn't need to. My question is should I go through a debt consolidation agency or rep to repay this? I am afraid I will get so overwhelmed by trying to pay a little to each every month and I will get harassed.

My in laws keep getting a call from 7162475597 for me. The person never gives the company their calling from just their name which is Susan Henderson. I called the number back and the lady answered and asked my name and said to hold my file was in with the attorney. Than after being on hold the lady came back on the line and started saying that they were going to garnish my wages and report me to the irs and that something has been filed with my local clerk for fraud. When I asked the woman who she was and where she was calling from she said non of my business.

Has anyone had any dealings with this company? I took out a $600 loan from them on August 17. To date, I have paid $865. This company is not licensed in the state where I live (CO). I sent them the sample letter from this forum and they initally sent back an email requesting for it to be in PDF format which I did. They sent me an email after that saying that I needed to contact the customer service department. I'm obviously looking to obtain a PIF for this account at the very least and ideally would like the $265 that I overpaid refunded to me.

I'm from Texas. I currently have an Installment Loan with Check n' Go that I can't payback. I've contacted them to find out my options only to be told that there weren't many other than holding a payment until my next paydate, which they ultimately denied doing. So now I'm trying to figure out my options. I also have 2 storefront payday loans from: one is from Allied Cash Advance and the other is from Big City Finance. Would I be able to consolidate these payday loans in Texas? If so does anyone know of repitable consolidation agencies that could help?

I have three numbers that continuously call and hang up or we ask them not to call anymore and they continue too 3023949608 2153839759 2523839759 All numbers don't work when I try to call back. What can I do? All numbers have foreigners on them and now that we've told them to stop calling PLEASE it just calls and hangs up when we answer, someone please help, one number we asked and they said they would call back later to speak with my husband and when he answers they tell him they will call back later

I know this has been discussed in depth so I do apologize in advance if this is repeating any post. I had taken loans out with One Click Cash and United Cash Loans. Neither is licensed in my state. I am beginning the process of trying to recover the fees that I have paid to each of these companies which total $3250 going back to August 2010. My question is, how sucessful are people in getting these illegal fees refunded? If people are successful in getting the fees refunding, what, in general, is the time frame?
