Hello, new to the site.... I have been stuck in PDL cycle for years, but it has gotten out of hand when I started using online lenders recently. I have a CashNet USA, Lakota Cash, and a Plain Green loan. I am seriously considering closing my account and using a PDL cosolidating company to handle these accounts. I wanted to know if anyone has truly used this type of service. I don't know anyone personally who could understand what this is like, so anyone on here with any advice would be great! I wonder if they truly work and if the PDL companies work with these consolidators.

I have read a lot of complaints about 1st irs on here. Lawal and associates and a few other names they go by. They have been harassing me for years!! It stopped for almost a year when I filed complaints with AG and FTC. Now it has started back. I filed a complaint with the BBB and they still will not provide any documentation of any debt they claim to be collecting on.

I have an account in collections at Keith D. Weiner & Assoc in Cleveland, Ohio. I spoke to a collector on 05/09 2011 and he said my balance due was 2,603.12, which I owed to Cleveland State University for tuition that I didn't pay in 2007. I contacted and paid the law firm $263 in May (I received a certified letter and assumed it was a lawsuit) and agreed to pay them the balance in full in June by taking a loan from my 401k. I have two questions, my original balance at Cleveland State University was 2,100. Can they charge me $500 in unexplained fees?

I just recently had someone start calling me about a debt that is over 12 years old, they said that they just bought the debt from the billing persons....they are calling my cell phone and I have NEVER recieved any letter in the mail and they are also using my maiden name and I have been married twice....what should I do? They also call three to four times a day or week and even on Sundays??

MY HUSBAND AND I OWN A HOUSE JOINTLY IN LOUISIANA. CAN AN OUTSIDE CREDITOR FILING A LIEN AGAINST MY HUSBAND FOR HIS BUSINESS, ATTACK THE PROCEEDS WE WILL RECEIVE UPON THE SALE OF OUR HOUSE?:confused:

So one of my paid off collections accounts said they would delete from my credit report if I write them a letter explaining my situation. Any good templates for that? Thanks

I got a letter saying i owe 8400 from first national collection bureau, inc. I did have a account with the orginal creditor as it states and it reads; unless you respond this debt is true if i do respond it says the office will obtain verification of the debt or obtain a copy of a judgment and mail you a copy of such judgment or verification. It has been at least ten years since I had that account . If someone buys your debt does the SOL start over again?

I have been making payments to them for GE Money Bank. I have 2 payments left but whne I try to call 1-877-704-2248, i get a message saying the recepient's mail box is full. Good-bye. What is going on with this company?

My account looks likes has been turned over to RAB. How would this effect if I liver near their office? I had other accounts which I succefully setteled and paid by using C & D and ARB. I have one account left but no money to pay. On the other account I have dealt with Zwicker, NCO and NCI. I am not sure about the how RAB is
