At the time I didn't have the finances available, but my income had increased, and would be able to enter into a settlement. I have not heard a word back, and that was over 2 months ago. I have sent DV letters and no responses, its been tossed to other CA's,CFG JC Christianson/LVNV was last CA.Sent DV got no responses, however they put it on my credit report. Now Brachfeld is calling. So the way I see it there are two clear violations taking place. This Brachfeld look mighty shady. So do I resend DV to LVNV,? and then ask them to remove from CRA file,Or do I wait for dunning letter from Brachfeld and resend then? Since collections restarted with no verification what should I do. I'm nervous this time around.

We filed for chapter 13 and are only left $500 to live on after all the payments are made. We have sold what valuables we had and have depleted all our savings (universal life/401K loan). In order to make our mortgage I am contemplating taking money out of my 401K. I am aware of the tax liability as I don't see any other way? What are the drawbacks? Thank you

Hi I disputed an account with Experian and it came back verified. I called the original creditor and they told me they had no information on my account that it had been sent to collections and they gave me the collection agency name, now the collection agency that they gave me is not listed on my report where the creditors contact info is located. Isn???t the CRA,s required to list correct creditor contact info and are they violating any types of laws.

I came into an emergency situation and needed cash asap. I was approved for 2 pdl. I originally applied through cashnetusa.com and couldnt do it bc they are not licensed in my state, RI. So they shared my info with other companies and I got a bunch of phone calls from different lenders. My big concern is that even though I said no to all but 2 of them, they still have all my info. Im afraid that since they have my acct # they can still process the loan or do ach debits.I work for a huge bank so I've seen this before. Or so customers claim that they are unauthorized.

Served papers today that I am being sued. The papers do not say what for or how much. Am on Social Security Disability and have no idea what this is about. How should I handle this?

I'm 24 and I don't want to have issues with my credit. I don't have credit card debt it's mostly unpaid bills and medical bills. Its less than 10k but I just don't know how to approach the situation. Is consolidating the right thing to do? and what exactly does that mean?
