I"m caught in PdL hell, but think I've found a way out by stopping the auto ACH. Been reading and forgot just how great this site is. I have 6 Pay Day loans. Two are currently paid off. I must admit I didn't know about Tribal loans. Now, heres my question and it doesn't involve a PDL. Is Avant a a tribal lender and are they under the same laws as tribal PDLs when it comes to the interest and principle payback? I took out a loan for 1,300 in May of 2015. I've paid them 597.98 in principle. Have also paid 705.00 in interest. Do I legally owe them anything else? Let me know. Thank you.

I am unmarried and works as a web developer. I have 3 years of mortgage payment remaining. I also have a fairly good amount in my bank accounts which I saved for past 5 years. I have 2 options before me. Either pay off remaining amount of mortgage payments or invest in something, most probably real estate. Hi, I live in centraila WA. I got scammed with a credit card in my name with Wells Fargo and I owe 5,000 on it and they somehow got into my Key bank account. So now I owe them 600. I also live on SSI which I only get 565 because I have to pay SSI back from Job Corp like $30 a month. I do have job but I maybe get 100 every month. So I need some help to figure out how to pay both banks. SSI just takes $30 out before they give it to me. Thanks Jessica

I am in payday loan HELL. I originally took out a payday loan to pay some past due bills. I know I have two store front payday loans and two online payday loans. I am a single mother and trying to make the ends meet, I ended up in this cycle. Now I'm struggling to pay bills, feed my child, have to fill gas to get to work. I am on the verge of evicition and have nowhere to go. I am looking for some advice on how to get out of payday loans.

What happens to the late fees and interests that accrue when we stop making payments to creditors for settling debts? Will I be responsible for it?

I bought an old car as an investment. Paid cash. Suddenly without warning I lost my job. It took months to find a new one. During that time, I took an auto title loan against the car because I was short of cash. I know this was a dumb move. Anyway, I'm working now with a good job and I need help to represent me because so much time has passed without a payment. I'm not trying to get out of paying. I just need to negotiate some sort of settlement or agreement so I can manage my obligation. Is it better to work with a settlement company I've previously taklen help from?

We live in Ohio, We just received a collection call saying my husband is having fraud charges, breach of contract, and some felony charges brought against him from a payday loan company from 2014. They called or house 3 times today left nasty messages, called his job twice, and called for our daughter on our home line all just today. and when I called back I was told he was going to be arrested on felony charges if I didn't pay 547.00 by the 3 and gave them my cc today. Is this legal?

I called them back. They stated they were collecting for "Direct Cash Loans" who were a parent company for several lenders, including Speedy Cash, Check N Go and other store front lenders. I became somewhat skeptical at that point. I have never heard of Direct Cash Loans and am not really sure that Speedy Cash and Check N Go have parent companies, as such. They stated the usual, "blah, blah, blah, I had willfully refused to pay my loan, etc," and they were going to turn my case over to the State for further action as I owed $800. Yes, I have had several payday loans before.
