I talked to a lawyer who has won me 2 settlements with other collection companies about this company. This is what that lawyer told me: While there is no doubt that this collector violated federal laws in many ways, we are sure that this collection agency is pretty much a sham operation. There is no real corporate headquarters, no real business structure, and no location where a corporate officer can be located. All addresses we have located have been either a post office box, a UPS store, or some other location that does not house the business.

I am trying to find out if National Cash Lenders is legal/illegal in the state of TX. I took out a loan of 400 dollars, and I have already paid back 400 dollars....they are now saying that I have a balance of over 400 dollars. I thought that I read that they were illegal in the state of TX...how do I go about finding this out. Hi, I have three payday loans currently out there and two are online, one is in store and I live in Missouri. The first one took out in november for $400 and have had to pay $106 every week since for "extensions." The second loan I am currently paying off in installments of $178 every two weeks for three payments and I have already made one, and it was for a $450 loan. The last loan I have is with Quickcash and that is for $500, that I pay off every week at $600 and retake out. What can i do to stop this?

Hi, I had previously (like 2-3 years ago) had an account with a DVD online company and paid for my first 1st DVD, months later they said I had a balance of $50.01 because i had to pay for two DVD's at regular price determined by their contract, so I told them I wanted to cancel my account, they agreed to cancel it but said I would still have to pay the amount owed so I told them I would purchase the two DVD's because I don't want to pay for something and just don't receive it, so I told them to send me another form so I could choose the DVD's that I want.

I once had a loan from the HushHawk group and my bank closed my account, i was paying the firm of Mcguire and Hummel $50.00 every two weeks, lately I have been short paying them, I am already being garnished 20% for Doctor bills and other loans that i have had, leaving me short in the process. I have a $300 PDL in Colorado through TLC fast Cash. I have made 5 interest payments or renewals of $79 each and recently was diagnosed with a disease and am not able to pay them back now. Hello goldenblast, I have a Chase Visa Card I've had for approx, 6 yrs. I started out with Zero APR but after approx. 6 mos. we had some financial problems and we paid 3 pymts late within the next year or so. When I took the time to look over the agreement from Washington Mutual ("Chase" took over WM over 6 months ago) I found the area where it states that they have the option to raise the APR when late pymts are received. We admit we paid some late pymts during the first year and as a result the APR began to rise each time.

Allied Interstate has been calling me at work several times a week, and has called my brother twice. In all cases, they refuse to identify themselves as a debate collection agency. This involves a default on a student loan, which perplexes me as I was on an income contingent repayment plan with zero payments.
