If a person becomes a victim of identity theft, is he/she responsible to repay the outstanding balance? I hope not.

Hello, I'm a resident of Florida. I borrowed from Big Picture Loans, apparently these guys were named Castle Payday loans or along those lines in the past. I borrowed $700 and paid them $700 plus $795 (total $1495). I gave them the e-mail template found on this forum, here's their response: >> Thank you for your communication.
