I recently sent out numerous DV letters and I sent them certified mail. I have received some of the green cards back but not all of them. Now my question is, what if I do not receive the card back? Should I try to contact them again? What if they don't even return the letter how do I know what is going on and what is my next step? Also what if they accepted my letter and I don't receive any verification then what do I do? Thanks for your help.

The collection agency already has the money but there has got to be something I can do to get this taken off my credit report thats hurting my score. I've disputed on the grounds that they promised to remove it. I've also called the company directly and they were RUDE to me. Very rude. I keep hearing no - but there has got to be a way.

I am very good at paying my bills on time. In NOV of 2007 I bought 2 tires at Big O' tires. They talked me into gettting a credit card and saving 10%. I agreed. Big O NEVER sent me a bill for 4 months and I forgot about it as it was not much money. The 4th money I got a bill all in red stating it was 4 months past due - I got on the phone immediately same day and paid it. I begged them to take it off my credit score - they never sent me a bill. This was in November 2007 to Jan 2008 at which point is went back up to OK. My credit score went from close to an 800 and fell.

My wages are being garnished for student loans.I believe I have paid close to 1,500 I only owed 5000 dollars. I recently recieved a notice that showed that the interest on it was almost 1000 dollars. How is that even possible? Am I possibly misunderstanding the statement I recieved? 20% of what I owe now is interest... that just doesnt seem right to me... how can I lower the interest rates? Any help would be appreciated, I just dont understand how it all works. Thank you!

i have been receiving calls from a collection agency they refer to themselves as financial law group 347-560-5015 the message they leave is that I have a pending legal case and they have an affadavit against me They do not give any information about who they are collecting for just that they need my attorneys name and number or im gonna face big legal trouble obviously i wont pay them anything but since they wont identify themselves how i can i send a DV letter

i would like help in how to deal with collection agency to pay a debt, or can i go to original creditor first?? It is listd on my credit report i dont have a bill, i know i owe it. thank you

I'm in the process of filing for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy due to financial hardships and got careless with payday loans. My only option at this point is filing for bankruptcy to get a fresh start. For those of you that filed for bankruptcy, once you pay the lawyer a retainer fee, what happens at this point?!? Does this make the creditors or pdl companies stop calling you once they find out that your filing bankruptcy?!? What is the "Automatic Stay"?!? I'm ready to do this, but just need some advice and clarifications on how this turns out. Thanks for reading.

I would like to be able to pay off three pay day loans as quickly as possible. $400, $50, $350 were the loan amounts but all I have managed to do in htree months is pay interests and no principle. I want out of the loop but not at 800% interest. What are my options?

I have been having problems with this Loanshopcollctns. they have been taking money out of my account each week and I have never even heard of them or even took a loan out from them. I want to know what I should do next I called my bank and let them know what is going on the problem now is that I have my paycheck direct deposit from work to my account so I can not close it until after it is sent thru can someone please tell me what I can do to stop this
