Hi- i was just notified that i have a lien on my account. I live in NJ and did not get ANY prior notice from anyone regarding this . I never got a court date, judgment papers etc from anyone. I do not know who to speak to because the court officer is saying he cant do anything and the cc lawyers just want the $$ so there is nothing i can do. I just feel so helpless because i was not notified at all... and i am not a lawyer. Thank you

I am having problms with pay day loan companies because My bank had to close my account so a lawyer called me and said i needed to pay a lump sum of over a thousand dollars the loan was three hundred and there was three seperate loans i have to wait a bit before i can open the new accout but I dont know what to do It is so bad I thought about claiming bankrupt but I dont know how to do that neither

I am in a remaining debt of $15K+. I am looking to pay this off as we speak. However, i have NO idea who to TRUST or who even HOLDS this debt. The debt i am trying to pay off, once was defaulted on for a year. I am now back and ready to pay it off, however - i have multiple companies calling on the debt to collect the whole amount.

How can you find out if a payday loan company is legal in Missouri? A company Gov Emp Loan hasn't sent me a payment schedule or anything to determine the payment schedule. There was also a pdlnow.com company who I borrowed $200 and they all ready have charde $110 interest with anything off of payment. Can you help?

How do you know if pdl is legal or not?

Long time lurker here, I have a store front pdl with Allied Cash Advance. After rolling it over a few times, I set up an epp of 4 payments of like $107 each... Made my first 2 scheduled payments, then was a little short this week (it was due 2 days ago) and asked them to give me until friday to make my 3rd payment. They said they couldn't give me a few days and then deposited the entire check even though I've already made the first 2 payments. Can they do that legally ??
