Quick click loans - legal?

15 years 1 month ago
I am unable to verify weather Quick Click Loans (Quickclick Loans, LLC) is legal in Missouri. They show up under the Missouri License, but do not have a license number listed. Does this mean they were once licensed and no longer licensed? Is there a way to find out for sure? Quick Click Loans is an installment lender who charges outrageous interest.

SOL in Texas

Hello all..new here! I want to send a PDF to RJM for two debts that are slated to fall off on 4/2011 and 6/2011. Will I restart the SOL if I send the letter? I have a blurb about not acknowledging the debt is mine, but didn't know if that would matter. I appreciate any and all help. Thanks!

PDL collection agency

While back we got PDL and all funds owed back have been paid. Well the last payment which I thought was taken care of didnt go through. But 2 weeks after the last payment was be taken out of our account, I had VCS and associates call me. This guy was extremely rude and advised me that if this wasnt taken care of there would be charges filed. Told me we owed 350.00. We only owed 150.00 more. I set up payment with VCS, but doing some further investigation about this companies practices. I feel that I shouldnt have to give them anymore money.

I wanted to thank you all for your help on this site, I got this email from one of my accounts Dear Upon reviewing your request I see that we sent you $100, and we collected from you $151.70. There were several bounced checks. As you know there is a $25 fee for each bounced check.

I did read the article in the Havre News I guess I am confused so if they meaning PDL venture/Rockyboy/Spot on Loans are on an indian reservation and have thier own set of rules then there is nothing that can be done? i had a loan thru them which i have paid the principle and then some and they still say i owe them i have filed a complaint with the New Hampshire Banking Department because the law states they need a liscense in New hampshire to lend to a New Hampshire resident. Did i waste my time? can they come after me for more money?

CAPITAL ONE - A new "twist"

15 years 1 month ago
This is my last credit card to settle. In the past I received an outrageous number of messages left from "Linda". Every time I returned the call someone with a foreign accent badgered me for money. They couldn't/wouldn't discuss settlement. So I ignored further messages. The people were impossible to deal with. Now the account is with Global Credit & Collection.

Debt Reduction Services, Inc - a good company?

15 years 1 month ago
I have about $25,000 in debt on 3 cards. I am considering using a company called Debt Reduction Services, Inc. They advertise that they are nonprofit and that they are A-listed with the BBB. I would have to pay a $40 fee, $578 a month for 5 years. It will be very hard for me to pay that amount but I have to figure out a way to make some progress as all I can do is pay minimum fees right now. I would really appreciate any info/advice. Thanks (I'm a single mom, not high income)
