Been helping a friend locally with two tribal lenders.. they seem to ignore emails & faxes - American Web & Golden Valley - I am having her send them both the ACH revoke and illegal lender letter via CMRRR - but these two are relentless.. I have told her to block their numbers. Any other suggestions? She does have them blocked from bank account..

I received a call today from Oracle Financial Group claiming I took a loan out for $400 to Kenwood services. I have never heard of them and looked them up online and it looks like one of those payday loan sites that sends out your application and gets you with a lender. I did have payday loans and went through PDLDA years ago. This is from 2011 they said. I told them I have never dealt with this company and they need to provide me with verification from the original creditor with amount borrowed and amounts paid. they couldn't provide it and I requested it be sent.

Here are the lenders I currently owe: Rise Credit - 2 loans (1 me -$3074 and 1 husband-$2825) Cashnet USA - $3700 Cashcall - $2946 NetCredit - $6040 - (Original loan was $6000 and have paid about $5000) I have stopped ACH debit authorizations on all of these and have continually asked for payment arrangements as I just can't make the minimum payments each month but I'm getting nowhere.

Well, I finally was able to settle with Cap One. The beginning of my journey is in the tread "Going down the debt settlement road". It took along time, but the result wasn't bad. After kicking the can down the road by paying $15-$20 every month or two, they accepted a settlement of a little more the 50 per cent. This was about 19 months after the first missed payment. It stayed with Cap One the whole time. Thanks to Jared and all the others for their knowledge. It feels great to be nearly debt from, except for the mortgage.
