Hi I just want to thank eveyone for their help on this forum, but I wanted to put my situation out there to see what you think.. Crestwood/Ashland-300-paid 270 Integrity Advance-700-paid nothing yet..this is my 2nd loan with them I had an unexpected financial situation come up and there was no way I could pay my fees this week 8/13..I called each in advance and asked if they could work with me and both indicated no.. So my next step was close my account, which I did. Now I am recieving nasty calls from Crestwood/Ashland/Pwest One or whatever they call themselves.

is this company lgeal in the stae of california? I have defaulted on this loan and am currently paying a company to settle my debt. it seems as though I am paying them and not the original company. Should I stop all together? WHat is the consequences?

Does anyone have contact information for a payday loan company called Yellow Dale? I have their customer service number but am looking for a fax or physical address. Thank you in advance.

I am currently making payments to PDL ventures (formerly Spot on loans), arrowhead, one click cash. These payments are spread out every month to pay off payday loans. Are these companies legal in florida? am I doing the right thing paying principal and interest?

Hi All, Recently I closed my bank account, because I was overwhelmed with payday loans. I recently contacted CashYes to explain to them that the guidelines in which the contract was signed was not legal according to Louisiana laws. The representative told me that because they operate out of Belize and not Louisiana they didn't have to follow LA law. She also said, since I refuse to pay my remaining balance of $820, they'll be one of 3 options, collections and settle on a payment, wage garnishment or reported on my credit report as delinquent. My original loan was for $600.

I have court tomorrow for a NSF check for $278 in 2003. Plaintiff is Credit International dba CCV. I have faxed letter to thier attorney offering $200 with no response. My sole income is my SS Disability & I have sent them proof. I'm trying to clear up my credit history & cannot afford a judgement. If I get a judgement against me I will not qualify for the USDA home buyers program. If I am not mistaken I think they may have bought this debt. How do I defend myself or get proof this debt was assigned to them? Any help is appreciated.

Asset Recovery called today stating that the orginial creditor wanted to file legal action. Strange.. as this has been on my credit report for awhile. Orginial Creditor - Quick Payday inc Loan was taken out 12/2005 or 1/2006 The creditor called for awhile but refused to provide any documentation that i took this loan - stating they were a "paperless company" and they were overseas. I dont know anything about this loan - but my ex DID cause some problems.. so anything is possible..

Not even sure this loan was MINE... as the company refused to give me any paperwork - said they were a paperless company. They were HORRIBLE and calling me at work screaming, cussing me out, ect.. anyway. Asset Recovery called today - said the original balance was $400 but w/ attorney fees it's increased to $512. Orginial creditor was Quick Payday Inc. Loan was taken out 12/05 or 1/06. My ex was pulling scams.. so it MIGHT have happened.. or , since i don't have proof.. might not have. She said she is sending me a letter to show this loan was done.

Is cash transfer centers legal in PA? Also can they take money from my paycheck if they do not have an actual signature from me? They are threatenting to go to my employer and take my pay check.:cry:

My August Payment is due on 20th and I wanted to request a deferment due to working only 8 hours a week and caring for my 17 mos daughter. They said no, they can't stop my Auto Pay since it's too late, I understand that but they also said they can't accept deferement till I make August payment. I don't understand why they can't help me. I am also planning to take classes at night, maybe that can help. Anyone any insight on student loans?
