I'm in pennsylvania and in payday loan mess. I took out a payday loan with many companies but gti holdings is one. I closed my bank account before money was taken out. I got a call from a local # today 412-452-9926 when I answered and tried to get info it was someone who kept saying I'm from jay riggers locating service. Wouldnt give any info saying I don't have any information but you need to call 866-801-0275. When I called it was a number to Capital Harris Miller and associates. To tried to ask for an address to send debt validation.

Husband has a checking account (where he receives his pay through DD from DoD) with only his name on it. There is a joint account at the same bank. Judgement was granted against wife's debt (husband is not named in the court documents and is not responsible for the debt). However, both accounts were levied at the bank even the one in husband's name only. Is this legal? Oklahoma is not a community property state. How do we fix this, if possible..

I have 2 PDLs Cash Taxi and Red Leaf Lending along with 5/3 Banks Early Access of which is a PDL form of loan that is attached to my Personal chexking account. I asked 5/3 bank to allow me to revoke the 2 PDL ACHs but was told I have to pay $35 for a stop check good for 60 days but the PDL can change their amount by only cents and run the debit through. I believe both CDLs are illegal in Ohio based on loans only good for 2 weeks and the interest rate if I understand correctly.

Some information about my situation: I am currently having my wages garnished to repay about $15k in student loans. I am about to change jobs, and understand that my wages will eventually get re-garnished when the creditor gets information about my new job. I am willing to set up a payment/rehabilitation plan if garnishments aren't renewed, but I cannot pay off the entire amount at this time. My questions/concerns: If I set up a payment/rehab plan, can the creditor still initiate the wage garnishment once they receive the information about my new job?

I hve taken out a loan with usapayday.net I have paid back the principal and also now i have electronic checks running through my bank account. I took the branch managers advice and closed that account. are they a payday loan compnay or a CSO? i dont know how to go about stopping this harassment.

I am in dire need of any help and advice that you all may be able to offer. I'm tired of struggling, of constantly worrying, and always feeling paranoid that my personal financial life is going to leak out and ruin who I really am. I value myself as a good person and I treat everyone I meet with respect and sincere friendliness, but in the long run, that doesn't do anything to help me get back on my feet.

I have been contacted by J.A. Cambece law office. From the internet I have gathered that their only office that is licensed seems to be the Peabody office in MA. I was contacted by an office from Beverly, MA . I am in Florida and the debt they are seeking to collect on is from Florida. I was doing fine making payments with the help of my student aid and parents but then in 2008 I was no longer able to make payments.
