For the past 2 years, I have been paying on my Sears account, which is now owned by Regurgent. It was with PRS. Now it has been moved to Centrel Credit Services and they are trying to tell me that the balance is $1600 more then what is was when it was with PRS. I called Resurgent directly and asked how this could be and they are telling me it is because of interest. I called PRS and they said that they were never told to apply interest to the account. Now all of a sudden the account accrued interest for the past two years and my balance is $1600 higher.

I wanted to share my story about what is going on in Ohio now that they have changed the laws here. Most of the lenders have changed their license so they can still lend and not follow the new laws that were passed. It has been a nightmare to get out of!! They charge you daily interest now if you default and are not willing to settle one bit!! Most of them will accept payments but you can not default on those payments what so ever!!!! Like one loan was for $500.00, loan fee $46.00 from Cashland. I now owe them $720.31!! One loan for $500.00, loan fee $75.00 from Checksmart.

hello all, what is the deal with sandpoint capital? when did they change name? not that i want to contact them. i just received a letter in the mail yesturday about some so-called settlement offer. the debt goes back to 2008. however this for some reason does not look right. i have checked my statements and can only see one payment coming out of my checking account before i closed it. actually i am not sure when i took it out at the moment i am not in a position to pay them any attention let alone money.

I have two payday loans, one with zip19.com I borrowed $640 with $780 due in two days. I have another one with Cash Central, I borrowed $750 with $879 due in two days. I will not have the money to pay these. I live in Texas. Can anybody give me some advice?

I have what I think is a quick question, and hopefully someone can give some advice. Over the last 6 months I got in to a PDL mess. It started as they all do, was a little short so got one back in August, and it just snowballed and before I knew it in mid December I had 8 of them. With that said, I've been working with a debt consolidation company, closed my bank account and retaken control of my finances which feels great. In mid february I'll have enough funds built up with the debt company to hopefully start reaching agreements to settle some of these PDLs.

I was wondering what generally happens when the debt collector attorney dismisses without prejudice prior to trial and returns the file to the original creditor. We recently appeared at trial against Hanna and won (they had no evidence or witnesses). They refused to dismiss with prejudice (never hurts to ask). It was an alleged credit card debt with Capital One. What is the likelihood Capital One will try and send the file to another firm? Is Hanna gone for good since they dismissed their action?

I have had several illiegal pay day loans that I have been working on paying off...principal only of course since I hit them with the laws of California...but Pay Day Loan Yes has been the worst to deal with. Their people are rude to the brink of abusive. I owed $350 to them and $300 to Fast Cash (this loan just ended up in my account). They even debited from a new bank account illegally and I had to stop payment on those ACH debits. They have been a nightmare! They are now calling me telling me I owe close to $1100 for these loans so I called them and threw the California laws at them.

Over the past few months, I've taken out several PDLs due to major financial setbacks. Like everybody else, I'd thought I'd be able to take out one or two and be able too pay it/them back in no time. But, bills continued stacking up and I began falling behind. More loans were taken out. Yes, it was a very stupid mistake because I've now dug a HUGE hole which I cannot seem to get out of. It's gotten to the point to where I cannot pay any of my bills because I get hit with rolling fees which are debited from my account every payday.

I checked the website and it now says... DEFENDANT, PRO SE, FILES MOTION TO VACATE DEFAULT JUDGMENT. PROPOSED ORDER SUBMITTED Can someone please tell me what this means? Does that just mean they have the paperwork, or I've won, lost, etc.? thanks! Shannon
