I got two bills. One is from the hospital and the other is from the collection agency. The bills both arrived on same day. Collection agency calls me and leaves messages. They report to all credit bureaus. The hospital calls me and leaves messages too. That's illegal. Right?

7-8 months ago I was able to get rid of all my internet loans, but I have been ubable to make any progress with the storefronts and its time to end the maddness. I can foresee this coming payday there will be a problem and I am pretty sure I won't be able to pay everything. I am in TN and this is with cash express. I see where they are listed on the CFSA website-but I am unsure if its the same company because no where in the store or on their website does it say anything about being a CFSA member. I have 2 checks and an installment loan with them-all for over a year.

Ok so I am working on the last 2 of my creditors one ARS National Services has just sent back my validation request with all the information of payments and balance etc. What is my next step? I owe roughly $1600 from an account with Dell. What is your advice?

Hi Yesterday my bank froze my account right after my paycheck was direct deposited. I am supporting two kids on my own and this has totally wiped me out. I will not be unable to make my mortgage payment and I have 50.00 to live on for the next two weeks. Is there any way I can appeal this as creating a hardship and have my money reinstated? Thanks

I am currently 5 months late on chase and 4 months on BOFA accounts. I received a great settlement offer from chase after 90 days late. BOFA however turned my account over to collection 2 months after i became delinquent. In 5 days it will supposedly go to the litigation department to start lawsuit. They told me this is because I sent a do not call letter. Either way BOFA will not speak to me at all. I had to speak to the CA. They were very courteous on the phone but there settlement offer was too much and repayment was not favorable either.

Good day, I received a call from a gent named Joe at Camebridge Huxley & Assoc. on Friday stating that they are representing cashjar. I took out a loan from cash a few months ago for $400.00. Well, after the first $120.00 withdraw from my checking account I called to find out if I could pay this off sooner and was told NO,and that I would have to pay 9 more installments of $120.00.I thought that was nuts and did a perma stop on any ACH's from these people.

I would like a few opinions please. I have filed chapter 7 bankruptcy 2 times in the past. In 1997 and in 2005. The reason being I have attempted to help my brother who has major crack problems and have tried to help his wife take care of his 3 kids. I constantly overextend myself and have covered for a lot of his mistakes and it always has put me in a bad position financially. Anyway he is finally out of the picture but my finances are again an issue. I have retained a lawyer in the hopes of doing a chapter 13 bankruptcy.

i currently have 3 loans with 3 different places Cashland for 890.00, checksmart for 912.50 and check-n-go for 1100.00 i want out do these places offer any kind of help? i have asked and they all say the same. NO! if i let the checks be returned , and offer money each payday on them can these places do anything to me? jail, garnishment etc?
