I’m facing a problem in dealing with Chase. They have validated the debt. I’m so grateful for that. However, they’re equally difficult to negotiate with. I have made several settlement offers to them. They have not accepted even one offer. Rather, I’ve been served with summons. Do you feel that the CA will settle the debt at this stage? I just want to avoid judgment. I’m a resident of Attalla.

I am planning to file Chapter 13 in roder to get rid of a ton of medical bills. The total amount to about $28,000. I am 69 and without a source of regular income. All I have is an annuity, a very small pension and my SS checks. Would I qualify for Chapter 13? Also, I live in Yuma, Arizona. I have been in a fist fight with Experian over a tradeline that falsely appears on my credit report. Its a PenFed auto refi loan and is marked as in default since 2008. Now the thing is that I have never bought or refinanced a car. I have been driving the same clunker my dad left me since he died when I was 16. I have written to Experian at least 3-5 times stating that the debt is not mine as I have never done business with PenFed but the replies are always the same generic stuff about them investigating and then finding the debt to be valid. What do I do to clean up this mess?

I ran into trouble about a year ago, lost my job and the usual burn out followed. Anyways, got into a lot of debt, credit cards (3 in total, Discover, Chase and Orchid) and about a ton of payday loans. I got a job a month and half ago and I am going to clean up my act, get my shit together and get out of debt. Now the problem is that I cannot track any 3 of the credit cards, all of them have been charged off but after that, there is no mention of them anywhere in my credit report.

Now these guys are calling me every day from morning to night, accusing me of bank fraud, perjury and stealing, How do I stop these morons?
