I have 4 storefront payday loans totaling $2000 in alabama. however, i recently read that it is illegal to have more than $500 out at a time and i called another pdl company to ask if it was true and the woman says yes, that a company cannot lend you any money if you have other pdl totaling $500 in the state of alabama. so my question is, i am now signed up with t&c and im wondering should i even be responsible for these if they werent suppossed to give them to me in the first place?

Does anybody know if Compass Bank is affiliated with any of the big credit card banks. I want to open an account and do not want to give the creditors access.

I have two bank accounts one with wesbanco and one with chase bank.I went into over draft with wesbanco and cant get them paid.I have a aacount also with chase bank for 3 month now.Will i be in danger of losing this account with my wesbaco account most likely closing?is there a way of making payments to the bank and saving my wesbaco account?Any help please?

if one gets sued (for credit card debt) or gets a judgement against them can you still file bankruptcy to stop this?

Hey Guys, Just thought I put in my cents worth of the subject to earn additional income. Home based business had been proven successful for decades now. If you do have any ideas not listed here, do list them down as well (1) EVENT PLANNING- You should plan first if you decide to do niche like - coporate parties, seminars/conferences, road shows, weddings. Event Planners need to constant research on places, prices, databases etc... (2) FINANCIAL PLANNER-I think its a great way to assist people in planning for their finances as well as earning money.

If I have been served with summons...is it too late to enter a debt management program?

My Citibank card is around 100 days delinquent and went straight to H&H law firm. They call around once a week. I finally called them back and told them I was settling with some other OC's for around 35/40%. She said that Citi would only do 80% and that they "wanted their money!". She also said that they sent a letter around three weeks ago stating that I must pay immediately within 30 days or face a lawsuit. I NEVER saw any letter!!. I told her that no letter ever arrived and that I could not afford 80% of the debt.

Does anyone know if during the validation period a debtor makes a settlement offer and it is excepted, is that considered collection activity? I don't want to do anything that would void the validation period on my end.
