I am trying to set up a payment plan with Cashnet USA.. they informed me that due to state law, they can't provide me with more than one EPP in a 12 month period (I had one back in Dec) I tried looking online and haven't been able to find anything.. I keep emailing them to set something up, but they keep telling me to call...Does anyone have any info on this? Thanks so much!

Hello all, After several months of not being able to pay on an account, I've received a collection letter from LTD Financial Services, but the originating company (a retailer) sent me a bill for last month. LTD's letter instructs me to "make check payable to Citibank." Now that I can, I'd like to log on and just pay Citibank, but my account online has been disabled. When I call, the automated payment service says that I need to go through LTD, who is now handling my account.

Does anybody know the contact info for star cash processing. They deposited 300.00 in my bank account and I can't find there contact number.

I recently was given my chapter 7 bankruptcy. I have a motorcycle and they have turned the collection over to Bass and associates. I want to negotiate to keep it should I call them. My e-mail is personal info removed for your safety - Jason

Folks, if you're going to hide your money to avoid paying a judgment, you better be creative about it. Got a judgment on a guy for about $40,000 in credit card debt. He said he was broke and hid his money in a "secret" bank account. Well, we found it and took all $28,000 in it. The man was devastated -- begging us to give it back. We just laughed at him. And the thing is we only paid about $300 for the rights to the debt. If you want to keep your money by hiding it, you best tuck it under your mattress.

I took out a $1500 loan with Brookwood in September of '08. My monthly payments are $128 and change. I lost my job in February and have not been able to pay them in 2 months. I just received an email from them telling me that if I don't respond to them within 48 hours that they will be taking legal action including a judgement, which could include request for wage garnishment and/or asset seizure. My question is, how long would it take for this to happen, and can they do it considering I currently have no wages for them to garnish nor any assets. What should I do?

I am considsering Town & Country Acceptance OR Langhorne Debt Solutions. Any thoughts on either one or Both?

I am getting recorded calls from Redline Collection on my cell phone. It is a wrong number. I do not have any debts to collect. Because it is a recorded call I can't speak to anyone. I am forced to call the phone number provided. When I call them I give them my cell phone number and they are not finding it their systems. They don't have my name in their system either. Nor do they have my home phone number. But obviously somewhere they have my cell phone number because the calls keep coming. I cannot get these calls to stop. I get them every day sometimes multiple times a day.

I get a letter in the mail from them yesterday saying that my credit rating may be in jeopardy. Over $5.20. My doctor's office sent me to collections with these folks over $5.20. Not only that, they sent me to collections over a $5.20 bill I already paid. They have the last date of service as 12/04/2008 but I paid the bill on 11/15/2008. This morning I have had 2 calls already from these folks calling me a dead beat for $5.20. I told them I paid the bill last year. They called me a liar.

can someone confirm that these are illegal in mississippi?
