I have an acct list on my crediit report for a vehicle that was repossessed. Spoke with the CA today and they state I have a balance of $10,970 or they offered me a settlement of $4,279. I cannot pay this amount. Should I offer them a lesser settlement amount or just try my luck to try and have the acct deleted? I hace about $1500 in savings---should I offer this as a settlement amount???

I have threatening phone calls coming from another company who supposedly bought my loan that I had not finished paying off from Mypaydayloan.com. I am being threatened with they are sending papers to file check fraud charges to my district attorney in chesapeake on Monday morning. Then they tell me to call the plaintiff at 866-271-1568. It all sounds like a scam but can they charge me with check fraud? I found out that online payday loans are illegal in Virginia?

Applied for a loan on saturday 2/15/2013, called on sunday to cancel the loan. Loan company is putting the money in my bank account monday nite for tues. I left a message to cancel since the company is closed on sunday. Will this company be able to cancel my loan approval and what is a valid number to call on Monday morning. Thank you

Back in October, I received a loan from sure advance for $306 and paid it in full within a two week time frame. I then closed my bank account and opened a new one being that I had just finished paying off two more from My Cashnow and Bottom dollar, and noticed strange transactions, so i had to be very proactive. Today I received a check in the mail from sure advance for $9.64. My first inclination is to ignore it, rip it up and throw it away, since im sure this is away for them to access my account. Is this correct?
