i have lost my license because of a wreck i had and i didn't have insurance so they got judgement against me can i bankrupt this

Maybe everyone else knows this, but I didn't. I always thought that the Government could garnish disability for child support, but I found out different yesterday. My daughter-in-law and I went to the Child Enforcement Agency yesterday to see why they had not garnished her exs' disability that he just received-along with alot of back pay. He is about $10,000, or more behind. We were told she was out of luck on any type of garnishment, assignment, etc. It seems if you draw SSI(which is different than SS), it cannot be garnished.

I just recieved a summons saying that they are suing me. Can they do that? Especially for a debt that they bought?

Hello, I have a question regarding Sprint. I owe them about $600. I fell behind and kind of let it go. I got one of those "we can work with you" letters and I do plan on calling tonight but how exactly should i handle this? I never made one of these calls but I would like to tackle this as best as I can. I cannot pay the balance in full, do i make an offer? or will they make me an offer? if their offer is too high do you think they will still work with me? This $600 came from not paying the bill in two months :( I'm switching to pre-paid when this is done.

I see alot of people who has borrowed from illegal internet PDL sites. I recently just found out that My Cash Now and Payday Max are illegal in Illinois. I called the Illinois Division of Financial Institutions and they informed me of what I need to do. First I closed my account and yesterday I sent a letter stating that I am excerising my right to set up a repayment plan of what I can afford and I will be paying back the principal amount only.

is this a loan that I can pay off with someone else. I have 4086.52 in payday loans due to a family emergency. I do not have the funds to pay this off all at one time, and it is debit from my account.

So here's the deal...I was an idiot when I was in college, and poor when I was in grad school. For a while, I was poor after grad school. There are several things on my credit that are really hurting my score and I want to fix them. 1) Defaulted student loan I consolidated my loan through Nelnet, and was told that my current deferral would continue. It did not. In 9/06 it defaulted. I have since rehabed the loan and am current on payments through ACS. There are now 2 Nelnet entries on my credit report for about $8K each.

Bank statement reflects $250 deposit from Star Group Payday Loans. I do not recall authorizing transaction but would like to repay. Payday, 2/06 is long gone and loan plus charges, not deducted.

I am currently in the Consumer Credit Counseling Program, Which is working for me I have just about paid off 35% of my debts with them , I have Capital One account which is in the program and has been referred to Mann Bracken I am paying them thru the program and I have not missed a payment since joining but since this one account has been given to Mann Bracken I am constantly receiving letters of pending court dates do I just go to court and let the judge deceide or do I have any recourse since I have documentation of
