There is a 60 day time limit to report fraud/theft of bank accounts. My thief knew this and knew I was unable to check my account for a four month period. He hacked by online account and transfered over $700 to his bank!!

i just checked my credit report first time ever. there is only two debts on it,small. i think that I have had some other not paid debts in the past but they are not on my credit report. shoud i worry about these or should i think that only what is on the current report is what matters? thanks people:)

hello community:) it is great to find you and I hope someone will have a few moments to give me an advice. I recently checked my credit history for the first time and this is what I found: my credit score is 583 - poor and there is only two things on my credit one debt of 143$ dated 2000 one debt of 138$ dated 2008 I am not sure where these came from and I need and advice and info on what to do. I can repay these immediately but would like to know how long it will take to change the credit score if I just repay these two. I don't have any credit cars or loans.

I was looking up nationwidecash.com and found this on the bbb site: This company's license # 01413 with the New Mexico Financial Institutions Division as a small loan company was surrendered on 10/14/2008 due to the business closure. Has anyone heard of this? What exactly does this mean?

I've been using my computer for everything, including checking my and accounts and paying bills. A friend of mine told me that I had to be careful because you can get viruses and trojans that can actually find confidential personal ID information on your computer like SSN or credit card info, and send it to scammer who then can rip you off. Is this true? What can be done about it? I have an anti-virus program called Cyberdefender on my computer, is that enough protection?

Are there debt consolidation companies that will work with me even though I've recently been taken to court by a credit card company and a college?

I need to know how to consolidate my debt when everything is out of control.

My acct rejeted by 2 pay day loan charges bc I was overdrawn for other reasons. does anyone have number to VIP Cash ot Paydaytodaycash. So I can work something out with them

Hi I was using PDLs very infrequently since last year, and always repaid them on time. I hated it and vowed never to use them again...then reality and bad luck hit home and going through a nasty divorce, I turned to them to help me get through some difficult times.. same story as just about everyone... now I am totally out of control...my bank account is overdrawn to the tune of $1500 JUST from the bounding PDL debits. I have asked them to stop and I have made moneygram payments which they NEVER post on time... and I am at my wits end. Seriously, I have never been so financially ruined.

My mother has been staying with me for a long time know, but recently we have found out that pg&e has send her to collection. we got a call at my house saying that she has been send to collection, I then asked for what service. they gave me the service address and the name of the person who the account was under. Well, because this person had a temporary SSI, they couldn't link the charges to no one, and so they have linked my mother to this past due account. Just because her name matched the name used to open the account. My mother has never lived at the service address.
