I received a call stating I was going to be charged with worthless check, thief, bank fraud, then he said I could settle out of court if I pay 1230.00 by western union. Can they really do that?. I think it was for the companies arrowhead and B&L Mkt.

At 21 years of age I aquired my first apartment and the utility bills that it carried with it, about a year later i lost my job but the bills remained. Eventually I left the apartment and overdue bils and relocated to a different city, and now that I am in stable economic state I would like to pursue possible avenues to fix my credit history.

Would anyone know what would happend if a couple files bankruptcy and one of them cannot make it to the court date? I am asking because my husband is really sick right now and I don't know if he will make it and our court date it tomorrow morning. Thank you for your help. I have been dealing with a Ryan Hall from this company. I have filed complaints with this company but I can not get this Ryan to get a clue. I have emailed him over and over and told him I will not pay a PENNY MORE then my state allows. I recieved the following email from him Tuesday. I have stated in my emails that I have filed complaints and its like he just ignores it. I need help on what to do with this company. I have also sent VD letters, and CEASE and DESIST. So far no response other then he's calling my home AND work.

Hello, I just wanted to know if there is any contact info for Capitol One besides what they have on there website ? I was hoping for headquarters info, I need to speak to someone who can actually change things. Everyone I speak to does not know what to do ( or does not want to do anything). Another question, (I live in NY ) is it enough for me to just tell them over the phone not call me and the only contact I will accept is by letter ? I recorded the phone call with a rep. and her response was that they cannot take the request over the phone I have to write in a request.

I got an alert from Experian that potential negative information was being put on my credit report. This isn't something new but I figured i'd check it. Well its Palisades. I know I owe this debt but it is currently being handled through Erskin & Fleisher since I let it go so far and I am paying them on time every month with a payment plan I set up with them. Palisades is still reporting to the agencies that I am not paying on time. What do I need to do to make them stop. From what I can see from Erskin & Fleisher they are not reporting to Experian.

I have been in debt for a long time and it's time to get out. I don't have a bank account because I owe three banks money. I don't know where to go to find out what I owe and how to pay them. Please help.

I always thought I took care of everything, but today I received a letter from RJM Aquisitions asking me to settle a debt from 1997 for 60% of the original balance. It is for a DirecTV account. I know I had DirecTV at one time, but thought I had paid them when I left years ago. I live in California, what can I do before I call them? I really don't feel I owe it, but after 10 years I don't think my I have any cancelled checks or billing slips from them. Can they be serious? I want to dispute it, but it's so old, even the IRS doesn't require you to keep tax returns that long.
