hello, my name is Rob and after finding this forum a few days ago and doing some reading of other posts i have decided to take the advice given by everyone. first i tried to contact my A.G with no response then i came ehre, since i live in NY i have found that all of these pay day loans are illegal in my state which makes them null and void. I wish i found this site sooner but anyway so i took everyones advice and spoke with my bank today and have since closed that account and started a new one.

My lawyer and I can't find who holds my judgment, however it expires soon (Nov 11th). So if my judgment doesn't get renewed by the expiration date, whats the likly outcome if I petition the court to satisfy the judgment based on payment already rendered? P.S. The company that I was sending payments to said the debt was recalled by the debtor, but the debtor hasnt been Identified, so how am I to get it dismissed/resolved, if I can't find out who has it. Also, how am I going to get a home loan, if I cant get it dismissed/satisfied.

Today I recieved paperwork from cashcall saying that Im bound to the promisary note that I signed and that the laws of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe exclusively to the terms and condition of my loan. and now they want me to call them what should I do

Earlier this year, I had a financial hardship and started researching some payday loans. I submitted an application through Money Mutual, but decided not to take a any of the offeres that were made. Just seemed like I would get myself into trouble. The next day, I had a deposit in my account from Mass Street Group for $200. They were not on the list of lenders that I was "approved" through, and I certainly did not give them authorization to deposit money into my account. I attempted to contact them at the number listed on an account summary they sent me, but my call was never answered.

I am being contacted by Legal Debt services on an old paypay loan from 2009. I owe 250 dollars on the intial loan. The creditors want 1750.00. Should I settle this for the original amount of 250? Or can they still come after me for the 1500. They are based in Delaware, I am in California. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

a collection agency says a judgement was given to me over 20 years and I have no record or recollection or ever receiving any such summons - they are very nasty and threatening - what can I do? and if there was a judgement from 20 yrs ago how can I go about getting it vacated? is there any time limit on credit card debt? thanks for any help :)

I live in MN and on Thursday I have to go to Conciliation court for a credit card debt of $940. How should I prepare... if at all? And to prevent garnishment, how to get I get it so I can make voluntary payments to them?

I recieved a letter today stating that If i do not send pymt by next mth, I will be taken off the BLP program and my account will be charged off and effect my credit. I could care less about my credit at this point, but a charge off at 60 days how can this be or is it just a threat to scare me into paying??
