I've received a call from a man stating that he is with the "department of pre-litigation. Telling me all the bad things that was about to happen to me and ruin my good record. Would not give me an address, said they are in a federal building and cannot accept mail. He just went on and on and on. It was a payday loan for 200. My account was closed because we received a letter stating there may had been a leak of my personal information. I tried to set up a payment arrangement but he would not even discuss it. Said it had to be sent moneygram. I didn't send him anything!!

Okay I have consolidated with t&c April 14. I just called them and they said that they sent out letters to all the companies telling them about the consolidation. I keep getting phone calls from the companies that I consolidated. I was wanting to know how long it takes for t&c to get everything straight with the payday loan companies? I have been trying to avoid them, should I just do that when they call or should I answer and what should I say if I do answer? I am just so confused and so scared at the same time. Please help with any suggestions. Thank you

We got my little boy a fish over the weekend and when he got home from pre-school he came in our room to check on it and he looked at me and said my fishy is hungry and before I could get the fish food away from him he dumped 1/2 the container in the tank. I aksed him why he did that, and Travis told me he was looking at me and he was hungry. Now I have to clean the tank and put the fish food on the moon so this won't happen again.

GREAT NEWS!! I just received a call from GECC - they are writing off my account!! Zero balance WHOOPPE!! I Sent them a letter couple of weeks ago and I just mailed it - didn't even send it certified return receipt!! THey are sending me an email and a hardcopy of the email!! Is it legal for a creditor to continually call a person at work, and talk to whoever answers the phone about your situation? I have notified this particular creditor (a small loan company) in writing that they are not to call my workplace. I have also sent them written confirmation that I am working with a credit counseling agency who they will be getting a proposal from and have given them that contact number. They called me again this morning saying they could not reach the credit counseling company (this could not be true - it is a 24 hr.

Do you only concolidate for credit cards, home loans, mortgages, car, and studentloans, or do you have a broader seletion to work with?

I signed up with a credit help consolidation company trying to get my credit back in order. The company took $683.00 initial payment and never set up agreements to lower my interest and debt. When questioning this they assured me that they had everything under control. Is there anything I can do about getting my money back.

Company/Individual reported: Jerry Maulden Since Nov. 2004, I have been sending money that could have been paying off my credit card, to MMG. Miracle Management Group Inc. Also on their letter head is Risk Management Partners. Neither returns my emails,Nor do they return my calls. Their web site has disapeared. 11/16/04 they sent a letter, that SAID Thankyou for choosing MMG to solve your financial problems. Now they are my financial problem. They moved. Maybe they are just outside the Dallas TX area.
