I received a collection notice from Enhanced Recovery Company for a service provider. When I called them about this (because I am always on time with my payments to this provider) they told me that it was a debt from October 2005. I contacted then service provider, they had no record of this debt. They recommended that I go to a local branch of theirs and they would be able to go back further in their records. I then went to my local branch and asked about this "supposed debt" . They reviewed my records and found nothing indicating that I owed on my account. This sounds like a SCAM.

I have been dealing with a debt settlement company who negotiated a debt for me after I was served a summons to appear in court. The case did not go to court because the company was able to negotiate a settlement. The settlement was for 5 monthly payments then one lump payment, that I defaulted on because I could not raise the money in time for the payment. The debt company then stated they would re-negotiate the debt.

If anyone has any useful information it would be greatly appreciated!! I have a private student loan out that I did not know about. I have been paying off my federal student loans now for years and they are all up to date. I was served a few months ago for this debt, $15,000. I filed paperwork in the supreme court stating I was unaware of debt, no promissory note was given to me or did i have, and the statue of limitations was up in NH. My private student loan was taken out of Missouri & their SOL is not up technically.

Kimmel and Silverman sued allied interstate and told me in an email that i won a judgement of $250.00 i have yet to get the check

Got a call from these people today. Guy spoke with a very thick accent, but an American southern accent. A search on the phone number (615-732-2862) seems to indicate that they are in Tennessee. Anyway, they threatened to have an arrest warrant issued if I did not return their call immediately.

These people are a riot... they transfer me around to four different people requesting a 672 dollar payment and I keep telling them their loan is not enforceable outside of the tribal reservation it originated. I'm not sure what a permissible letter is but one of them keeps saying they'll send me that. I interjected by asking for a validation of debt which they don't answer and do nothing about. At this point I am going to simply call the credit bureaus and file dispute and have this taken off my file.

I a m not quite sure how much I owe in credit card debt. But I do know I have a lien on my house that went up for sheriff sale on july 20th. From arrow financial. Is there any way I can get a look at my credit report for free?

i live in tx. i took 2 payday loans out last year that i paid back in full on one checking account. later, i took out the loans again on a new checking account that i plan on closing because i have paid too much. my question is....will they go back to the checking account i used the first time to try and get payment? one was paydaymax the other speedy cash.

What if a payday loan company doesn't work with you and refuses to rewrite contract?
