Does the FTC protect the rights of consumers who have payday loans also? Does the Financial Code that the Payday loan companies go by waive my right to have the FTC protection? thanks

Can you possibly advise at to the recourse a payday loan company has if you put a stop payment on a check? Due to financial difficulties I am trying to make payment arrangements with them and they are threatening to sue, are they able to do this and can I be prosecuted? Please advise.

I have several cash advance loans outstanding, two of which have been willing to work with me, however payday advance plus will not, they want the full amount and claim they wont accept anything else, today they called me at my job which i have asked several times not to call me here and he said if you dont call me back immediatly we will go ahead and charge you with internet fraud. Two years ago I purchased an elliptical trainer from NordicTrack (ICON Fitness) at my local mall. When I researched the unit online, the nordic track site proudly proclaimed that I had 30 days to return the item for a full refund. When I returned the item, ICON refunded me the original purchase price, minus delivery charges, a 15% restocking fee and a charge to pick the item up at my home.

How can you place negative collections on innocent people credit report?

I have a payday loan for $200 dollars that I am behind on. I called and told them that I will seek help from a debt consolidation company and they told me that was fine. But, I have been doing a little research online and found out that a lot of consolidators will not work with payday loan companies because it is to much work. Does anyone have any suggestions for me?
