Hi my name is Stephanie I have a question regarding a loan I got couple months ago from plain green loans my loan was $1000 And I have paid $1,572.85 I think I have paid more than what I should I don’t know what to do because I stopped making payments I had to actually call my bank to stop them from taking more money from my account and they are threatening me that they will send it to collection what should I do because they are not licensed here in California and what they are doing is ilegal

hi n.corey99 here. i just got off phone call with someone claiming to be a lawyer. located in cal. i live in utah said if i was unable to send 1000 and some change in the next 45 min the law suit affidavid he had just read toi me would be givin o my local sherriffs dept and i would be arrested and taken to california for prosecution on check fraud and theft by deception. i did receive a loan from them but their attempt to draw an ach was only returned last friday what shiould i do?

Hello, I just called Bank of America and we agreed on a settlement amount on some credit card debt. I'm happy with the amount that they're willing to settle for, but I have read many articles which say that you must get a letter confirming the agreement before you pay. (Otherwise, what would stop the bank from playing dumb and saying there never was an agreement in the first place?) The person I talked to on the phone said that BofA doesn't send out any proof beforehand of the deal.
