Quick question for those who have been there. I paid my agreed settlement about 5 weeks ago to WF (17% settlement). I was told I will be getting a letter in the mail stating my account is settled, closed and paid in full for less than owed. I called last week and was told 30 days after you pay and the money has cleared, the account will be considered paid and my letter will be sent out. Still waiting for that letter! I verified the 800# that calls my house at least 5 times a day, sometimes starting at 8AM, is Allied Interstate. I figured they would leave a message, but after each call I refuse to answer, they DO NOT leave a message. Is there anything regarding # of times they can call a # in one day? I've sent my letters telling they pay day loan companies they are illegal etc, etc. (I've gotten one paid in full letter!) IdealGelt replied to my 3rd email today with the following; "Hello Kimberly, Idealgelt does not follow Maryland state laws because we are a international company.* I can set you up on a payment plan if you would like." I know this is crap, but how should I reply?

Who is Soloman, Sheinberg & Associates? How do I take care of them? Do I need to send a cease and desist? They are calling me about a payday loan they say I owe? What can I do?

I received a call today from an Eric Simon 855-245-6124 stating he is a process server telling me to call back or I will be served within 2 hours. He left the above number an a case number. I called them back and spoke to a woman that had a case for me with United Holdings. I borrowed 300.00 from them and repaid 180.00, I sent them everything and never heard from them again. The case was sent to them from United Holdings. She said they are a paperless company and gave me the address of a PO Box in Buffalo NY. What do I need to do?

I have received several calls from the Michael J. Scott Law Firm. I only found out they were trying to contact me because someone showed up at my mom's house to serve me papers. They had a different address for me at a place I had actually been living at until recently. I don't know how they got my mother's address or why they didn't try contacting me where I was actually staying. I contacted them to find out what they wanted. Now they are calling me and when I answer there is no one on the line. As far as I know I never received a debt verification request letter from them.

I got a response from zip19.com today with an attached letter that said they have stopped collection and will accept my repayment terms! I offered to pay them two equal payments of my principle only and consider the account PIF. Sweet! It feels so good to get free of these darn PDL. :sun: I am still waiting for response from two other PDL and i have not heard one word from mypaydayloan.com since my last response to them.
