Hello, I signed up for a couple tribal loans when times were rough. They are still collecting from my through ACH, even though I have paid more than the principal. Is there any law that I can use to help me in stopping these ACH transactions, and getting a refund of the amount that I have paid over the principal? Can I get a judgment of imprisonment due to an unpaid debt?

HI, Short story long. After my daughter graduated from college and before she started work (seven years ago), I had to co-sign a credit card application for her to get a Credit Union issued credit card. The information was transferred to a credit reporting company. The information on my current credit report from one of the three credit reporting companies now shows my daughter's residence at that time as one of my former (?) residences. I never lived at the address listed as a former (?) residence.I previously called the credit reporting company and the problem wasn't corrected.

Is it possible to remove a co-sign information from my credit report? I co-signed for a friend of mine and came to know that he's not making the payments on time. do i have to file a case to get it removed? Is there any way to remove my name from the co-sign?

What should I do if the collection agency doesn't send me a validation letter. I have waiter for 45 days.

14 months ago we filed for Chap 7 bankruptcy in Florida pro se. It was discharged about 3-4 months after filing, but a couple of months after that the trustee sent us a letter stating we owed over $8,000 in overages on our assets that must be paid in full within 45 days. Well, if we had that kind of money, we wouldn't have had to file for bankruptcy or at the least, been able to hire an attorney! I politely questioned their method of calculation (there was no explanation other than we had an overage on assets).
