Should we file tax separately or jointly?

I have a query regarding paying taxes. I live in Oldham County, Kentucky. I am working in a company and earn $7300 per month. My wife has started working from August 2014. She earns about $4000 per month. We have bought a home and currently paying $1200 on mortgage per month. We have two children who are going to school. I want to know what will benefit us - Filing tax separately or jointly?

 

Is silence and hanging up considered harrassment?

NCO keeps calling me about a small medical debt. They call from several numbers that I look up on 800notes so I know who they are from. They simultaneously call multiple phones. When I pick up, there is silence on the other end and after 20-25 seconds the line goes dead. I've managed to record this multiple times using Google Voice. This happens 3-5 times per day and has been going on for 2 weeks At what point is it considered harassment?

My husband and I got out of the pay day mess in 2010. We paid off all of our pay day loans. I and my husband received a letter yesterday saying that we owed on a signature loan. The balances together were over 800 dollars. I have the receipt where I paid the pay day loans off and neither of us can remember ever having a signature loan with Cash Express. If we did, we would have paid it off the same day that we paid our checks off. My question is, this was in 2010 that I stopped all dealings with payday loan companies.

Hi everyone. I am being harassed my Capital Harris Miller & Associates for a payment they say I owe Triple Services LLC. A specialist, has called my place of employment twice and yelled at me on the phone. She threatened to take me to court to sue for the money. Then we made arrangements for $138.33 in biweekly payments. I became wary and thought it was a scam, so I stopped payment on the funds. She called my home and a job again. I am scared. Can I do anything to stop her?

Hello, Couple days ago a process server called my work with a private number wanting to talk to my supervisor, when I ask what was this about ? He wanted to know if there's any procedure to find someone to serve in person ? I answered not that I know of you can just ask somebody here and they'll help you find that person. Then he mentioned my name and said good bye and hang up... When do they normally come to my work or how do I set up a place and time to be served if I don't have his number or is this a scare tactics ? I'm already on a debt consolidation program..

I sent ach revocation and close account letters to all three. I live in Ohio. Mobiloans did not respond to my email or fax, however I can no longer log into the account. Spot loan has not responded at all, and mypaydayloan.com sent a bizzare response. Spot loan I owe principal bal of @200, can't find my paperwork to be sure, but offerred to pay the principal only. mobiloans was overpaid by a thousand, i know they'll never send the overpayment. Mypayday loan I owe 195.00 principal and offerred to pay it.

 

Midwest Fidelity LLC collection agency for Dash of Cash

I received a call from a local number, but it was Midwest Fidelity LLC they immediately began talking to me about a PDL I took out from Dash Of Cash long ago. They emailed me the following letter as they were speaking to me. I asked them to mail it to me via USPS and they seemed agitated and asked if I had gotten the email I told them to mail it again. Do I need to be concerned about this? From what I could find Dash of Cash is totally not legal in Ohio. Midwest Fidelity Services, LLC 103 S Main St.

 

Northland Group and Cavalry

I recently received a dunning letter from Northland Group for an almost 6 year old debt, just before the SOL or right around SOL in AZ. I responded with a DV letter and Northland promptly replied and said they closed the account and returned it to Cavalry Portfolio. I just sent a DV letter to Cavalry as well. Does anyone know the chances of them validating since they had already assigned it to Northland (maybe they weren't able to and that's why they assigned it) or other steps I can take to get it removed? The OC was B of A with a large balance.

 

Help with Cash Call Loan for Michigan Resident

I have been trying to read through the forum in regard to the legality of a Western Sky / Cash Call Loan I took out in 2013. I reside in Michigan. From what I do read, am I correct that this company is NOT licensed to do business in Michigan, and is their Installment Loan Illegal in Michigan? I am ready to contact my bank to stop further ACH withdrawals, and will contact Cash Call but I sure could use some help on what process I should follow. Would someone please lead me in the right direction here? I want to follow all the right steps and I would appreciate any all help.

Hello, I took out a Check n Go installment loan and have made two payments of $246. It's becoming too much for me to sustain and I want to work with them perhaps an EPP or try and get a fee reduction but do I have to let it default into collections in order to get that to happen? I've got around $2500 left on the loan. Really trying to get out of the installment loan trap that I created for myself :( Thanks!
