Stupid as I know it was, I feel back into the payday loan cycle. I pulled myself out and I notified all of my lenders and was able to arrange payment plans/paid-in-full with all of them except Everest Cash Advance. Never heard back from them. When I revoked ACH authorization it was too late to change my direct deposit from my employer so I couldn't close my checking account. I did however have my bank put a stop payment to Everest.

I got a call from a courier who claimed they had legal documents for me to sign and wanted to know when I would be available in a day. I of course had no idea what this was about, so they gave me a phone number and case number. The people who answered said they purchased CashNet USA, and that I never paid my loan back. I immediately did research on this office and the address on the credit report was incorrect.

Anyone heard of srg. She calld and told me I owed 1000.00 on crdit card from 1994. I told her I knew of no debt and she would have to send me validation of debt. I received a call from a woman named Ms. Smith who claimed she was from a government agency that examines debt claims for arbitration. She went on to say that this was for a loan from the Greenway Group and that with interest, 1000 arbitration fee from the state and the initial loan that the new balance was $5200+. The problem is 1.I don't remember ever getting a loan from these people 2. This was from before I filed Backruptcy in 2010 and all my debt was included in the bankruptcy.

Over the last several months, I have been in a dispute with my auto lender. They have been reporting incorrectly on my credit report, and claiming I was late when I was not. I am a california resident have an installment loan (not a payday loan) through Plain Green Loans. Originally $1300 I've paid over $2400 in payments so far. I am being laid off from my job & will not be able to make any further payments for who knows how long! They debit payments from my bank account. Last time I missed a payment they debited my account a couple weeks later without warning & caused me financial chaos. What happens when I have to close my bank account & i am unable to pay them.?
