i have had people call my job stating they are serving me with court papers for a 200 dollar loan if I don't pay the 200 plus interest total 350, I will have to pay 1400 for court cost and the loan for writing fraudulent checks. I have never written them a check. I had to close the account due to another lender depositing money into that account without my authorization, when I reversed that deposit I closed the account. I am now in a program where they pay my loans off and they are still harassing me.

I was contacted on Monday by a collection agency, United Recovery, in reference to an almost 3 year old PDL with VIP Loanshop. They called my cell 7 times, back to back, and when I didn't answer, called my office multiple times (we have called ID and it was the same number that called my cell so I didn't answer). When they didn't reach me then, they called my main office and spoke with my supervisor. That was not a good thing. I called them back after they spoke to her and that's when I found out who they were. I filed a complaint with NC Attorney General and the FTC.

I dont have any creditors(anymore), or any revolving accounts. I have paid off my balances and have a good credit history with student loans and a car payment. However, I cannot seem to qualify for a credit card or any store cards to help boost my credit score. What do I do now? Is there a faster way to get my credit score up?

Original Creditor: Western Sky Immediately sold to: Cash Call Obtained the loan via the internet Live in Montana Original loan amt $2600 Made 11 payments of $294.46 for a total of 3239.06 What are my options? Do I send them a letter as outlined in the Dealing with Unlicensed Lenders section, stating I've paid them more than the loan, or ? I already closed my bank acct.

As many of you know, I have been battling with Cash Call over a loan originated by Western Sky since August of 2012. After months and months of researching and reaching out to agencies and attorneys, I have finally located a reputable attorney who is gearing up to take this on as a class action suit. I have put many of you in touch with him already, but I know just from reading the posts daily that there are still LOTS of you victims out there.

Is this company for real? We have been scammed so much, we cannot afford to loose any more money. Were are their creditationals located?

Hello, I am so glad I found this forum also. I am starting to clean up my finances and need to get out from under the easy money that PDL's seem to be!! I have currently 6 internet loans: MyCashNow total borrowed: $2970 paid so far:$2733 Plain Green: Total: 1605.29 paid 2057 RedLeaf: Total $500 paid $75 AdvanceMeToday: total $300 paid $120 Castle Payday: total 300 paid 0 WesternSky/CC: Total 2600 paid $629.50 I have sent ACH and wage revocation letters today.

Quick summary, I have been in Chapter 13 for almost 3 years. We had some credit cards and unsecured loans, plus a few months behind on the house. In order to keep the house we filed chapter 13 and with a 5 year repayment plan on the back due amounts for the house. The hosue payment was about 1600 plus 280 for back due amounts and about 200 for trustee fees. I assumed the fees for the trustee where to manage the monies and make sure the mortgage company received their payments.

I live in NYC and I had a $800 loan with My Money Chest and began repayment 1/4/2013. To date I have paid them $1590.00. The repayment of this loan was not explained to me correctly even after calling them on two occasions. I sent them a Revocation of ACH payment letter, now they are telling me that I still owe them the original $800. What if anything should/could I do with this situation?

ADVICE regarding Online Advance out of Delaware. I have over paid by about $300 on the principal loan. I stopped the ACH and sent my letter. I have been contacted by their debt collection department. She says nothing in my letter applies to them as they are not a Pay Day Loan Company? It was an internet loan and they do not have a license for lending in the State of California. Next step? Thanks!
