I have 7000.00 in credit card debt and 6000.00 in back taxes what do you recommend my salary has dropped by 500.00 a month

I took out a care credit charge for my daughter for dental care. I received a few bills and gave them to my daughter to pay. She never got her dental work do e but the dentist was payed by care credit. I received. Letter fro a law firm in an attempt to collect a debt. I paid the bill and settled with the law firm. Now the dentist has the Money how do I do about retrieving my money from the dentist. Was told that they would have to send the money back to the bank nd then the bank would give me back that money. Can you give me an information about this.

i recently got a credit report and afni was on there for a t moble bill i never had an account for because at the time the account was open i was in prizon and wasnt possible they also just changed the date on it to 2 yrs ago when before it was 07 what can i do if i should do anything???????

Is there a way to do a search on this forum? For instance, I am dealing with two pay day loan companies (Mobiloans and Plain Green) and I would like to be able to find as much information as I can about them on here - people's experience getting a PIF, how long it took, etc, without going page by page. Does this program make monthly payments on the credit cards until they are paid off or is this the program that collects the payments into an account and then negotiates with the creditors after a certain amount has been saved? I have gone through that program before and it was a nightmare between the companies harassing me despite accepting the fact that I was in the program, the destruction of what credit rating I had as well as being taken to court for payment after the company had accepted the plan.

A couple of questions regarding charged-offs of debt.If the credit report reflects a charge-off, is the debt still owed? If so, do you work with the creditor or the collection agency that may have purchased the debt? How does a creditor charge-off really work? If I want to debt settle even if the debt has been purchased by a collection agency, who do I work with? Thanks

A collection agency gave my information to someone with out getting approval from me. They did not read the mini miranda to him. They did not ask him who he was. After I have already told them I am unable to receive calls from them to my job and they still call me here at work. More at that... What do I do?

I recieved a call fro Mark who had a garblled accent of which i could hardly understand , something about a financial matter from 415-952-7351. I got the same kind of call a few years ago i have since filed and had a discharged B.K . what can you tell me ?? thanks
