Hello everyone, last year we moved out of a rental townhome in a luxury rental community in PA. We lived there for 4 years and when we moved in, we asked if smoking is a problem and we were told no problem at all. We paid a deposit of $ 1600. During the final walkthru at move out, the maintenance guy told my husband, that they might keep about $500 from the deposi, since he smoked in the basement, and it might require a certain paint to get the smoke out. Three weeks after we moved out, we received a letter.

Sent an email on January 25 to Bayside Cash requesting a PIF - paid $500 on a $500 loan. Recieved this today - not sure what it means? My husband and I both have installment loans at the same company. My first mistake! We paid off the 1st one and had to reborrow due to financial reasons. Now i am no longer getting paid the same amount. I am actually making less money. I get paid 1100.00 a month. And my payment is 360 every two weeks. My husbands payment is 262.00 every 2 weeks. Is there anyway to get out of our installment loans? Are we stuck? Can I offer them money and get a settlement

I have a defaulted loan and a law firm called me. cuz the company wants to sue. Can this cause misdemeanor to show up on my record if not paid?

First time question here. I've read over this site many times before and now decided to pose a question. Here is my current situation and what I have done in the past. I am settling with a company, Midland Financial, that has taken over my Dell account. I am settling 1350.00 from about 1950.00. I also have two other credit cards which are being handled by a financial company. I pay a certain amount each month to them which gives me a lower interest rate.

In 2007, my grandmother consigned a $13,000 private student loan with me through American Education Services. I make the payment every month. AES isn't the greatest to work with. My grandmother passed away in January 2013 and now my mom (her daughter) is afraid that AES will call the note due and make her estate pay it, even though I am also on the loan and make the payment each month. The loan is serviced through AES but funded by Citibank. I called AES to find out what I should do in this situation and they said it would be up.

I received a collection letter from fbcs in regards to a credit card debt with merrick bank. My question is since I know the debt is mine there is no need to send validation letter? Or should I? I haven't read any good things about fbcs collection agency

I got a call from Greg Adams and Associates. They told me about an old loan I had from april 09. Told me that the creditor was filing a civil suit for the balance or I could settle it today. Alexander Flores identified himself as an attorney. Since he had all the facts right, I paid the balance, without researching properly. This was on 2/13. I haven't received any confirmation about my debt being paid. The original creditor charged it off so they had no clue what I was talking about. I also pulled my credit report and lo and behold the charge isn't even there.

Hello, I need some advice/reassurance on a situation I got myself into wth these guys. I got a call from Greg Adams and Associates. They were calling about a payday loan I had with Ace cash Express in April 2009. An Alexander Flores says that he was calling for his client (Ace Cash Express) and this is my debt, etc and so he says that ACE would be filing a civil suit against me within 10 days if i did not reach a settlement today. I paid the amount that he asked for because I knew it was my debt. Here's why I'm concerned: . I made this payment on 2/13.
