had my first court date with capital one. when up to judge when name was called. he asked me do you agree with this? said not that amount and before i could say anything more he goes: ok trial set march 8. now what do i do???

anyone heard anything bad about this company ro good things about this company?

ok so just say u completed uni and had debts of maybe say 20000 i dont know a figure, and you moved to the usa is there the chance that the debts be written off? or would you be forced to repay them if you were to re enter the uk or could you be arrested?

Hello, I am thinking of doing the debt settlement Program (doing it myself). Should I contact creditors asap, or should I wait a couple months ? Please advise!

Can anybody tell me what this is for/means? The CA attorney's office had me sign one of these after I agreed to settle the account with them. They said it's so that they can file it with the court and have the case dismissed. I signed and returned it to them but the case (according the the court clerk) ended up with a default judgement for the plaintiff for the full amount of claim. Even though they have been paid. Did I get tricked or something?

A friend asked me a some questions about her credit report and cleaning it up but I do not have the right answer so I thought I post it here. She has a couple of debts that will soon fall of her credit report (charge off, collections, medical etc.) and she wants to pay some of them off now since she has the money to do so but wants to know how does that affect her report. Does she pay the ones that she can now? Or does she not pay them and they fall off her report since they are scheduled to sometime this year.

I need a mailing address for allied interstate so I can report them for harassment.
