I was just contacted about a past due citi card. I 100% admit that I owe the money and I have been trying to make payments on it. About an hour ago I get a phone call and the number comes up on my caller ID like this: ACS8002200606 215-320-0424 I pick up the phone and it is a guy by the name John Britton. He said he is from Academy Service and talks so fast I can barely understand him. I managed to pick up the words Lawyer, Lawsuit, Legal Department.

Hi everyone! I just received an email from Payday Island offering me "payment arrangements" on my account. This is too funny since this account has been PIF for over a year (but of course they are claiming I still owe them). I haven't heard a peep from them since July of 2007. These places reallly do pop out of the woodwork! :x

Hello fellow Mods... I'm sorry for my absence lately, but it's been very crazy for me lately. It's a long story, but let's just say my stress level got too high and I needed to take a break from things for a while. I am hoping to come back in the next few days and do more Mod stuff. I don't see much need for anything other than spam deletion and general board monitoring, so I'll be here, but probably in the background a lot. I wanted to post this here rather than the Pub, because I don't care to deal with the general public's responses on this.

hi have a loan with united cash loans. i have been having some financial set backs and having a difficult time in paying these creeps. anyway i faxed a letter stating not to call me at work and that i will be filing a complaint with the attorney generals office, which i did. this morning i had a voicemail from them that i had 48 hrs to call them they did not say what they would do in the meantime. they called me again today and i said that i had faxed a letter to them and they can not keep calling me at work, and the guy goes on talking like i never even said anything.

I sent out my emails yesterday after closing my account, and here is the first reponse from OneClickCash: "We are an online payday loan company located in NE, we do not have to follow FL state laws since we are not located in FL. Your current balance is $390.00. Your next due date is 2008-08-29 for $90.00. We have attached a link that will direct you to the Customer Service Website. You can view your account information, request to pay down or pay your loan in full.

I received a message from them today that said that I needed to call them. They said they were a debt collection agency and I'm not sure if they are related to my Zip19.com pdl loan or someone else. When I dialed the number is said that I had to pay $4.99 to be connected to another number, which is: 10 15 15 8000.

I have a loan out with CashFirst but on their website I just noticed it says that if you reside in PA you can not take a loan out from this website, but the allowed me to and gave me the loan. What to do next? Thanks.

I know there have been a lot of topics lately on Cashnet USA in this forum, but I'm hoping that someone can help me with my situation. Back in 2006 I took out a loan from them, about $200. Cashnet had debited my account several times afterwards, probably to "cover the interest", but they certainly took more than $200 from me during that time. I kind of got into PDL hell, and ended up closing my bank account. I honestly was under the impression that I had satisfied the remaining balance of the loan via Western Union, as my e-mail records with them have indicated.
