Hi I received settlement offer letter from LTD financial but due date is 11/30/12. If I mail a settlement check(or cashier check) by certified mail, can I use mailed date as evidence in future? or they have to receive by 11/30. I am worried that they will say payment received after due date and does not honor the settlement. Any previous experience with LTD? Thanks, Andy

Hi, We have taken out several of these payday loans to catch up but are in a hole that seems insurmountable and every time we get a little money, we get hit with another debit for the loans and then our other bills debit and we just don't have enough money in our account. With the overdraft fees, we are getting ourselves into a bigger and deeper hole. I did not know that these loans were illegal in NC. Do we have any way to stop the debiting? Collections called us from one place and said we have no way to renegotiate since we signed and agreed to the loan and terms. HELP!!!

Does anybody have experience with Capitol One and getting on a credit card debt payment program or hardship program? I have gotten all my other cc on plans but Capitol One keeps saying no plans are available at this time, this is for at least 6 months straight. I currently have $20000 debt on this card and a minimum payment of $1700 which i can not come close to paying. I have been paying only $250 of my $550 minimum payment each month. Any help would be great.

gc services wants to put me on a rehab plan but i dont have a job and i live with someone who helps me at the moment. is there a hardship program to help me if i have little to no income but would like to settle debt in small amounts if possible
