i live in CT and took out several payday loans - justvbecause I reside in CT the lender that provided the loan may not be in CT is any loan for a ct resident illegal? need clarification

My bank refuses to close my account as long as I have ACH payments set up, or to stop payment on ACH transfers. I have 11 outstanding payday loans. Stop payment requests cannot be issued within Old National Banking on any type of electronic transaction (including, but not limited to, Old National check card transactions, automatic debit payments and other ACH payments). I am 1117 dollars overdrawn NOW, and it is just going to get worse. Help me please.

Got a call from the in laws yesterday that someone at this company had called them about money that I owe them. What is the best way to approach this company? I don't know who they are or what I supposedly owe them for. I believe that the law says they are not allowed to call family or friends and discuss the matter with them. I want to tread carefully on this so I am not sure if I should call the number they left or if I should put everything in writing. I looked up the company online and it says they are primarily student loan debt collectors. I don't have any student loan debt.

So I have one with UsFast Cash for $300 havent paid back anything yet. And I have one with AmeriLoan for $300.00. In the process of applying for these two, my checking account information was stolen by a company called Hydra fund III they also deposited 300.00 in my account and then started to debit 90.00 every three days, which I never gave them my checking info or ask them for a loan. So I closed the checking account and I am now trying to repay the first two above. But they are telling me that I now owe them like $580.00 a piece.

I had an account with Chase Bank. I could not pay them so they sold my account to a collection agency. The agency refused to work with me to make my payments affordable. I just received a letter from another collection agency/coucelors at law stating that they have bought my account from Chase. My question is, how did they purchase my account from Chase if Chase already charged off my account and sold it to ther first collection agency. Is this even legal? How do I go about not getting ripped off. I want to pay them but I want to make sure I am paying the correct people.

I recieved some great advice and drafted a C&D ACH and requested a refund from Usfastcash and St Armand's. this morning I recieved this email in response to mine: Dear (deleted): We respect a consumer who researches the services to which he/she uses. With that being said when you applied for and agreed to the terms of the loan, it would have behooved you to read the complete contract you agreed to with St. Armands. You are a citizen of Washington, however the contract was not made in Washington.

This agency, CCS, at the phone number shown above, has officially scammed me over a PDL. I panicked and was scared and I now have a payment plan set up with them to start drafting tomorrow. I need to call them to cancel this and break the arrangement. However, I cannot find anything online about them. They are affiliated with Plain Green Loans. Does anyone have any information on them? Address? Fax? E-mail? Thanks!

Still have not heard anything from Plain Green since - 10/15 telling me their offer from 10/7 that I need to pay $537, even though I have over paid them by $1002. What do I do next, or just wait and see, I was emailing them weekly, do I need to continue. Or just ignore and see what if anything they do?
